LUCENA CITY, Philippines – The number of health workers in Quezon province who have been infected with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) jumped to 10 with the addition of two new cases on Saturday (April 11). In its 5 p.m. report, the Quezon Public Information Office (QPIO) revealed that the confirmed COVID-19 cases in the province rose to 23 from Friday’s 21. Information on the latest report identified the two new cases as “QP #22”, a 28-year-old female from Tayabas City and “QP #23”, a 21-year-old woman from Lucena City. One of them is a health worker from Tayabas City. ADVERTISEMENTThe two other cleared patients who had also been discharged from the hospitals are from Lucena City and Sariaya.
