Saskatchewan reported 221 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, and three people have died. As of Sunday there were 194 people in hospital in the province due to COVID-19, including a record 44 in intensive care. Over 100 VOC cases have now been identified in the Saskatoon, south central and southeast zones. Of the 34,544 known COVID-19 cases to date in the province, 2,196 are considered active. Travel in and out of the Regina area is not recommended unless absolutely necessary.
