COVID-19 in Sask: 74 new cases and 2 new deaths


More Saskatchewan residents will be eligible for their second COVID-19 shot on Thursday, just three days before the province enters Step 2 of its reopening plan. An additional 12,013 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered in the province Tuesday, bringing the total number to 922,335. As of Wednesday, 69 per cent of residents 18 and older have received their first dose. 74 new casesThe province reported 74 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases in Saskatchewan so far to 48,125. As of Wednesday there are 92 infected Saskatchewan residents in hospital, including 12 people under intensive care.
