The number of new COVID-19 cases in public schools across Ontario has jumped by 144 from the previous day, to a total of 932 in the last two weeks. The data shows there are 12 more staff members infected for a total of 103 in the last two weeks — and an overall total of 261. There are 593 schools with a reported case, which the province notes is about 12.3 per cent of the 4,828 public schools in Ontario.
