MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) recorded seven more policemen who were infected with the coronavirus disease as the total number of COVID-19 cases in the police force surpassed the 100 mark. Gen. Herminio Tadeo Jr. said the number of cases in the nation’s police force increased to 105. Meanwhile, the number of fatalities due to COVID-19 stood at three. The Philippine health department defined suspects as those with COVID-19 symptoms but were not yet tested for the novel coronavirus or SARS-CoV-2, which causes the respiratory disease.
