India has reported 45,882 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours pushing its cumulative tally to 90,04,365, data from the Union Health Ministry showed on Friday. The testing data from the Indian Council of Medical Research showed that 10,83,397 samples were tested on Thursday while 12,95,91,786 samples have been tested so far. For the 13th day in a row, fresh cases in India have been less than 50,000. On November 7, India reported 50,356. Statewise -- the worst-hit continues to be Maharashtra with 17,63,055 confirmed cases, followed by Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
