Busayo Oluwole Oke made the demand when the AGF appeared before the Committee investigating the financial status of the Presidential Task Force (PTF). The Committee also resolved to write formally to the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Godwin Emefiele, demanding all the details of all the lodgements and disbursement of COVID-19 pandemic funds by the Federal Government. The AGF, however, told the lawmakers that the Federal Government opened a special account at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) where the donations were lodged and that the CBN would later provide the documents requested. The Committee Chairman and members, however, insisted that the details of the donations be made available to the members at the next sitting date on Monday, June 15, 2020.
