Kabba Chief Imam, Sheikh Abubakar Ejibunu the controversial index case of COVID-19 in Kogi State has been discharged from the National hospital, Abuja. The state government immediately rebuffed the claim saying NCDC did not carry along the state ministry of health on the series of tests conducted on the victim and therefore reiterated that the state was COVID-19 free. But one Chief Taiye Ejibunu on behalf of the family of the chief imam swiftly issued a statement admitting that indeed the chief imam was a carrier of the deadly disease and blamed the state government for covering the truth.
