The Oyo State government has acknowledged the closure of the Agbami Isolation Centre, Jericho, Ibadan. Permanent Secretary, State Ministry of Health, Dr Adebisi Ayoola, made this disclosure, on Friday when Tribune Online inquired about the closure of the Agbami centre for the past few days. Speaking on the situation, Ayoola said the state closed down the Agbami centre because it was not overwhelmed with cases that are beyond the holding capacity of the Infectious Disease Centre, Olodo, Ibadan. “When there are no more new cases and no need to admit them, the Agbami isolation centre was closed down.
