Share TweetBy Minka Klaudia TiangcoFor the first time, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) will be using social media regulations to track candidates’ expenses during the campaign period. The tendency now is that they spend big on social media advertising. The COMELEC will then check on records provided on social platforms to determine how much the candidates spent on social media campaigns. Meanwhile, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) will issue next week a memorandum on political campaigns in public and private higher education institutions (HEIs) nationwide.
