COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa was on a four-day official visit to MoroccoISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa discussed matters of mutual interest with the Moroccan leadership during his four-day official visit to the country, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday. The COAS discussed bilateral defence, security cooperation and regional peace and stability with the Moroccan leaders. “They agreed upon the tremendous potential for cooperation in multiple fields including security cooperation, joint training & counter terrorism domain,” said the ISPR. The army’s information wing quoted General Bajwa as saying that “Pakistan has and will always stand with Morocco even in most difficult times”. General Qamar said that being the frontline country against terrorism Pakistan had sacrificed and contributed against the global menace for a peaceful region and world.
