In its 2018 annual audit report for the PCGG, COA said the failure of the PNB to submit the supporting documents has rendered “unreliable” the balance for the said account totaling P122,485,141.24. These include the ARELMA account in the United States and the West LB Account in Singapore. COA said the PCGG submitted to the audit team the PNB financial reports for the period September 2016 to December 2018. Aside from asking the PCGG to initiate legal action against the PNB, the audit agency also submit all documents and authorization for the disbursements from the PNB Retained Fund from September 1, 2016, to December 31, 2018.
