A new report published today by CNN shines a light on a small new detail about a very big question: What did former Penn State Coach Joe Paterno know about the secret life of his longtime assistant Jerry Sandusky? According to CNN, Paterno and McQueary had no further discussion of the previous complaint "at that time or any other time," the report states. Sandusky was convicted in 2012 of the serial sexual abuse of 10 different boys between the time period of 1994 through 2008. Curley did reference a conversation with Paterno in a 2001 email in which he asked his colleagues to consider not taking the McQueary report to police or child welfare officials. Paterno was fired by the Penn State board of trustees in a special meeting later that night.
