Racist jokes further perpetuate racial privilegeI’ve said it before and I will say it again— it’s not okay to make racist jokes, especially when you are targeting someone who is not of the same race. This self-centered viewpoint over racist jokes essentially takes away from the other person’s feelings and sensitivities. Of course, the bar is really low nowadays for what we expect out of mainstream national news anchors.
