CNG filling stations will remain open for 24 hours for 13 days from June 24 to July 6 to facilitate the smooth movement of motor vehicles across Bangladesh during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays. The Energy and Mineral Resources Division in an office order issued on Thursday gave the instruction to the owners of the CNG stations. It said CNG filling stations will remain open around the clock for five days before Eid-ul-Azha, on Eid day and seven days after Eid. Currently, CNG pumps stay closed for five hours a day from 6pm to 11pm as part of a rationing plan due to a gas crisis.
