Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday reviewed the progress of the metro rail project proposed in the city. He instructed the officials that the second phase of Vijayawada metro, between Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS) and Nidamanuru, should be completed by December, 2018. It may be recalled that the state government on August 12 released Rs 300 crore for land acquisition for the metro project. Officials of L&T made a presentation on various models and technology to be used in metro rail project.
