Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday inaugurated the Insaf Medicine Card scheme for providing medicines free of charge patients of hepatitis, AIDS and tuberculosis. The chief minister distributed Insaf Medicine Cards among patients during a ceremony held at his office. After completion of the verification procedure and diagnosis, the Insaf Medicine Card will be issued to the patient. The patients will be able to take free medicines from the centres set up for the purpose. A total of 174,882 patients in 36 districts of Punjab will receive Insaf Medicine Cards.
