A day after a high-level committee of Madhya Pradesh's tribal welfare department found the ST certificate issued to BJP MP from Betul Jyoti Dhurve fake, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has taken strong exception to the move. A visibly angry Shivraj Chauhan on Wednesday summoned the principal secretary of the SC-ST welfare department Ashok Shah and commissioner of ST welfare department Deepali Rastogi and reprimanded them, sources told India Today. Ivne and Sangram had simultaneously petitioned the SC-ST welfare department and the Madhya Pradesh High Court. While the high court dismissed the election petition, the SC-ST welfare department chose not to act. After completion of four months, Sangram again approached the high court, initiating contempt proceedings against the SC-ST welfare department.
