LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has vowed to provide “visible justice” in the Sahiwal case in which three members of a family were allegedly killed during a shootout between the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and suspected terrorists on Saturday. CM Buzdar vowed that culprits will be brought to book and “we will ensure the rule of law.”“Justice would not only happen but everyone will witness it. The detailed aspects of the incident were discussed in the meeting and a report was also presented to the CM. Provincial Law Minister Raja Basharat, chief secretary, additional chief secretary (interior), inspector general of police and other senior officials concerned attended the meeting. PROTESTERS THRASH POLICEMEN:Protesters seeking justice in the Sahiwal ‘encounter’ thrashed police officials who came for negotiations to defuse the demonstration.
