Janardhana Poojary has sought the resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as the latter has failed to take steps to address drought situation. “Wherever Mr. Shah has toured, the ruling party’s Chief Minister has been unseated,” Mr. Poojary told presspersons here on Saturday. Mr. Poojary said despite severity of the drought, Mr. Siddaramaiah has so far not found time to tour of the affected regions of the State. The party high command has a good opinion of Mr. Shivakumar, who has stood by the party during difficult times. “Both Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have appreciated Mr. Shivakumar,” he said and added that Mr. Shivakumar would become the CM in the coming days.
