Source­s says Justic­e Yawar Ali will replac­e Justic­e Mansoo­r Ali Shah as new chief justic­e of LHCISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has proposed the elevation of Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Mansoor Ali Shah to Supreme Court judge. The chief justice has also proposed LHC’s senior judge Justice Yawar Ali as the new chief justice of the Lahore High Court, they added. The incumbent LHC chief justice, Mansoor Ali Shah was appointed in June 2015. In a first, LHC chief justice makes his tax returns publicJustice Shah also strived to regulate the bar associations. The Express Tribune learnt that Justice Shah will remain an SC judge till November 2027 if promoted by the CJP in coming days.
