CJ urges barristers to become part of reforms at LHC


LAHORE: Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC), Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, while addressing in a ceremony organized by the society of barristers at Avari hotel said that all members of the society should come forward and play their role in the ongoing reforms orchestrated in the LHC and district courts. He said that it was a matter of public service and urged female barristers to visit district courts to meet female judges and learn about the ground realities. The chief justice also apprised the members of the barrister society regarding the activities of his recent visit to England. In the third phase, Justice Yawar Ali addressed the participants and elaborated on the honour and achievements of the chief justice. Justice Farrukh Irfan Khan, Justice Shahid Karim, Justice Abid Aziz Shiekh, Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhary and Justice Jawad Hassan were also present.
