Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha is scheduled to leave Bangladesh for Australia on Friday night. Sinha had already written to the president mentioning that they would stay abroad from October 13 till November 10. On Thursday, the Law Ministry issued a gazette notification on the government order about Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha’s leaving for Australia. Earlier on Wednesday, President Abdul Hamid signed the government order [GO file], granting the chief justice permission to leave Bangladesh. It could be mentioned, Surendra Kumar Sinha went on a one month leave from October 3, citing health complications.
