PETALING JAYA: Large crowds and long lines formed at the Stadium Titiwangsa vaccination centre on Monday (May 17), with many complaining about the protracted process on social media. The authorities have since issued a statement apologising for the congestion, adding that it will add waiting tents and chairs outside the stadium. Earlier, frustrated vaccine recipients wrote about their less-than-smooth experience on Twitter and Facebook, along with photos and videos of the packed vaccine dispensing centre. Many of the people there were elderly vaccine recipients accompanied by their children or relatives. “The CITF apologises to all who were affected by the congestion issues at the Stadium Titiwangsa vaccine dispensing centre, and is always looking to upgrade our services, ” it said.
