Members of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested two persons for their alleged involvements in deceiving people by providing fake jobs. CID sources said the gang lured several people with providing jobs at telecom companies – Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink, and other private companies including RFL. Additional Deputy Commissioner of CID Dhaka Metropolitan (North) Minhazul Islam told the Dhaka Tribune that the matter was disclosed when more than one hundred people were moved to RFL office with their fake appointment letters recently. Acting on a tip-off, CID arrested them in between 5pm to 6pm on Tuesday, the CID official said, adding that the arrestees are mid level gang members. He said CID has been processing legal action against the arrestees.
