Ahmad told the French newspaper Le Monde:"It is too early to determine the date of the next edition of the CHAN, whether in 2020 or 2021." "The only thing that seems clear, is that the tournament will not be held in Cameroon in June and July, due to climatic conditions." Regarding the semi-finals and finals of the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup. Ahmad said:"The semi-finals are scheduled to play early May, we will adapt according to the health situation, and if the agenda must change, we will do so."
