Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor has transited to her next destination Guangzhou after ending her visit to Beijing yesterday. Lam is expected to meet with top officials including Guangdong Province's Governor Ma Xingrui, Secretary Li Xi and Deputy Directors of the Liaison Office Qiu Hong at the Zhudou Guest House today. Yesterday, Lam was received by the Han Zheng, the Vice Premier of the State Council who oversees Hong Kong's affairs, in Beijing. Lam would be returning to Hong Kong today after stopping by her last destination at Shenzhen, where she would be staying for one to two hours to discuss with officials about collaborative initiatives between the two cities this afternoon.
