Rules requiring fully vaccinated people arriving to the U.S. from international travel have also been dropped, as have requirements to get tested before traveling to another country. It comes as travel hits pandemic-highs, and after months of resistance from the CDC to allowing Americans to move freely throughout the country. 'With millions of Americans getting vaccinated every day, it is important to update the public on the latest science about what fully vaccinated people can do safely, now including guidance on safe travel,' said CDC Director Dr Rochelle Walensky. Americans who are fully vaccinated can safely travel internationally, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Friday'We continue to encourage every American to get vaccinated as soon as it’s their turn, so we can begin to safely take steps back to our everyday lives.
