Paymen­t being made throug­h banksISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority has approved the Easter allowance for all its Christian employees on the occasion of Easter being celebrated today (Sunday). In light of the board’s decision, the CDA chairperson approved disbursement of the allowance. It will also be paid to daily wagers, contract and daily paid (muster roll) employees as per their regular pay scales. It has been further emphasised to the treasury division and relevant accounts officers that release of Easter allowance must be ensured to all serving Christian employees of the authority on time. Meanwhile, CDA conducted operation on Saturday to obtain possession of vacant land in Park Enclave-II.
