Nur Uddin, father of the second-year student of computer science and engineering, earlier had told the Dhaka Tribune that Talha was attacked when he was going to the university around 6:30am. The Dhaka Tribune has obtained the video footage which shows two youths right before and after they snatched the valuables from two passengers of a rickshaw. However, Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Wari Division Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Farid Uddin told the Dhaka Tribune they were investigating and yet to confirm the identities of the killers. We are collecting the CCTV video footage and will identify them soon,” he said. Wari police station Officer-in-Charge Rafiqul Islam said Talha had returned home in a bloodied state after he was stabbed.
