PETALING JAYA: Footage from the CCTV of the detention room which held the two navy personnel who died on Friday have been seized and authorities confirmed that the men were in good health when they were taken to the detention room. Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) chief Admiral Tan Sri Ahmad Kamarulzaman Ahmad Badarud­din said three personnel who were guards on duty during the incident had been remanded to assist investigations. Admiral Ahmad Kamarulzaman said RMN had adhered to the SOP that every personnel who was taken to the detention room had to go through a health check first. Admiral Ahmad Kamarulzaman also said that the investigation board formed by RMN on Friday night would discuss and look into the SOP. He said the detention centre would not be closed but added that the RMN investigation board would not interfere with police work.
