Tensions escalated in Nakuru Town on Tuesday afternoon after police officers stormed a church to flush out protestors. The CCTV footage seen by Kenyans.co.ke depicted worshippers who were on the church podium lying on the floor in fear of being clobbered by the officers. “Why shoot live bullets and beat people in our Church, we had our normal lunch hour service. As the Bishop of Chosen Generation Church I condemn this act of excessive use of force by the police,” stated the Bishop. In Baringo, demonstrators stormed Baringo Governor Benjamin Cheboi’s office in Kabarnet town and demanded an audience with him.
