The CBSE announced to reconduct examination for Class X Mathematics and Class XII Economics papers over the reports of the alleged paper leak on Wednesday. The announcement sent the CBSE students and their parents into a tizzy with those residing outside the country saying re-examination is "meaningless" for them. "Students and parents have been calling frantically to their contacts in India for information after the CBSE decision. Many of our students have to appear for entrance exams in India or other countries in the coming week. Even the Class XII students, who will have to re-appear in the Economics paper, termed the move as an "unwanted burden".
