Girls outperformed boys yet again in CBSE Class X examinations, results of which were declared on Monday. In all, 91.10 per cent candidates cleared the examination, an improvement of 4.40 per cent since last year. Top rank of 499 was shared by 13 students across the country, including one from Gujarat, while from Maharashtra, 20 students scored above 495. In addition, five students scored 496, while 11 got 495. Congratulating the students, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, "Proud of my young friends who have successfully cleared CBSE Class X examinations.
