Source: TwitterCentral Bank of Kenya Governor CEO Patrick Njoroge said the banks’ regulators across the community are working on harmonising critical policies to ensure they deliver the currency. He spoke during the official launch of KCB Group PLC’s new banking subsidiary in Rwanda, dubbed BPR Bank Rwanda PLC. The governor also challenged regional banks to offer additional resources to the regional integration agenda. KCB goes to RwandaBPR Bank Rwanda was formed following the amalgamation of KCB Bank Rwanda and Banque Populaire du Rwanda (BPR). The expected easing of restrictions will be a dream come true for banks, including Equity Group and KCB Group, which have previously expressed interest in entering Ethiopia.
