MUMBAI: The Central Bureau of Investigation ( CBI ) recently interrogated a senior Mumbai-based chartered accountant who has for years been an investment adviser to Nirav Modi’s sister.Modi’s sister Purvi Mehta and her family are settled in Hong Kong. 270 crore from Islington International Pte, a Singapore based firm which was reported to be connected to his sister.“Modi’s sister and her husband, who is a business man, are residents of Hong Kong since many years. Like many NRIs hiring the services of Indian chartered accountants, they too had theirs. “Modi’s passport has been revoked but he seems to be moving around freely. So either he has obtained a new passport or reports of his travelling to Hong Kong are untrue.
