Even though the morning show has wrapped up for the weekend, CBC Edmonton is on location at the legislature all day. And, over at the Alberta Discovered Music Stage with Sandra Batson, you'll hear even more live local music acts. To celebrate Canada's birthday, the CBC morning show crew left the studio behind for a special live broadcast at the Alberta legislature grounds. Host Adrienne Pan is at the Alberta Diversity Stage where you can listen to world music from many diverse communities who call Edmonton home. Host Mark Connolly, Garrette McGowan and the gang spent the morning getting in the patriotic spirit with a big crowd, live music and a free pancake breakfast big enough to feed the masses.
