Archbishop Rolando Tirona of Caceres suggests that gifts for offertory contain items for hygiene, food, medicine, school stuff or money. Recommended activities include visiting poor communities (with distribution of gifts), visiting prisoners (with distribution of gifts), conduct a medical mission or hospital visit (with distribution of gifts), conduct feeding session, conduct forum or dialogue on social justice for the poor or anything feasible that can be done by the parish. “I submit to you the following recommendations as our expression of solidarity, love and service to the poor,” said Tirona.
