The Church leader expressed hope that the President will include in his State of the Nation Address (SONA) more programs for OFWs and more importantly, the creation of more job opportunities in the country. According to a study conducted by the IBON Foundation, only 81,000 job opportunities were created in 2017 to 2018, which forced many job seekers to look for opportunities abroad. Promote and protect our people and our land because to protect is to safeguard them from destruction and from death,” Santos stressed.
