Broadcast of CBC Radio in Kitchener-Waterloo was interrupted Thursday morning by transmitter difficulties. Technicians have now been able to get the station back on the air. The interruptions occurred as the station marked its eighth anniversary on the air. The Morning Edition host Craig Norris quipped, "we must've only bought an eight-year subscription to the transmitter!" Online streaming and smart speaker service was not affected.
