CBC Kids picks up TV and streaming rights to Wind Sun Sky’s Future Chicken seriesCanada’s CBC Kids has been revealed as the broadcast and streaming platform for Future Chicken, the eco-initiative from Wind Sun Sky Entertainment (WSS), Clearwater Farm and Ontario Water Centre. The multiplatform project will feature a variety of entertainment and educational experiences, including a series called The Future Chicken Today Show, which will premiere on Sunday November 5 as part of CBC Kids’ morning schedule. After airing on CBC’s linear channel and streamer CBC Gem, it will stream the following day on YouTube. In addition, Future Chicken ecotainment shorts will be shared on cbckids.ca and the CBC Kids YouTube channel. Ahead of the launch, WSS has been staffing up, appointing BBC and Disney alum Jo Redfern as MD of kids, among several other hires.
