However, CAVB came forward to clarify the situation, stating that the reports were baseless and unfounded. The current elected Board of the Volleyball National Federation of Cameroon, which had followed the necessary legal and administrative procedures, had no knowledge of this alleged withdrawal. In light of these developments, CAVB unequivocally reaffirmed the organisation of the African Women's Nations Cup at the original dates and location. Among the participating nations, Kenya's national team, Malkia Strikers, has already taken their place in Cameroon, brimming with excitement and determination.
