State enterprise CAT Telecom aims to rake in 10 billion baht in revenue in 2025 from digital services, a promising new source of income. President Sanphachai Huvanandana said CAT's promising digital services consist of cloud computing, smart solutions, Internet of Things technology, big data analytics and cybersecurity. Some 3.6 billion baht in revenue is projected from the data communication business, 2.7 billion baht from broadband internet service, 1.2 billion baht from digital services and 1.1 billion baht from international direct dialling (IDD) service. He said CAT is willing to elevate its digital services, bringing revenue to 10 billion baht by 2025. Digital services, Col Sanphachai said, will in the future replace existing revenue from mobile services under the agreement with True Corporation.
