Scotland's nationalist government has been urged to save Scotland's pub industry amid fears its policies were driving many to ruin. The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) wants to see SNP Ministers come up with an action plan to protect a sector that is "a vital part of our social fabric". CAMRA has been operating for over 50 years and aims to represent the interests of pub-goers and beer drinkers across the UK. CAMRA spoke out after Shona Robison confirmed the government was hiking the minimum price of alcohol in Scotland from 50p to 65p. CAMRA is also calling for a cut in tax specifically on pints served in pubs in the UK Government's March budget.
