In correspondence from the CAF’s Club Licensing Senior Manager to the GFA General Secretary, CAF listed club’s whose Head Coaches and Assistants cannot be allowed to participate in the competitions. With the Head Coach and Assistant Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak SC validated, the list did not include Ghana’s representatives for the CAF Champions League. Thus, following the conclusion of the club licensing process for the CAF Men’s Interclubs 2021/22 season, the correspondence stated that CAF “have the pleasure to share with you a summarized report of the licensed clubs per competition. Hearts of Oak will play Guinean side CI Kamsar in a one-off match in the preliminary round of the competition.
