The last second legs of the Confederations Cup playoffs stage were played on Saturday and Sunday across fifteen venues. The 15 winners of the play-off round advance to the group stageto join Étoile du Sahel, who advanced directly to the group stage as the winners of the first round with the best CAF 5-Year Ranking. North Africa has continued with their dominance by providing seven of the sixteen teams followed by Southern Africa and West Africa with three teams each. The draw for the group stage will be held on Monday 21st January in cairo, Egypt.
