The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) issued the instruction on Tuesday, Biman Bangladesh Airlines said in a statement. The statement said that valid passports, NID cards, driving licences, student IDs and office IDs will have to be shown while collecting boarding passes at the domestic airports. Biman also requested the passengers to keep photo IDs with them while travelling to domestic destinations. Earlier, the Civil Aviation authority had instructed all airlines to mandatorily check valid photo ID cards of the passengers before issuing boarding passes, but the instruction was not followed to the full extent.
