Share TweetBy Mario CasayuranThe powerful Commission on Appointments (CA) confirmed Tuesday the appointments of 50 general/flag and senior officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) led by two lieutenant generals and one Vice Admiral. During the public hearing by the CA national defense committee chaired by Rep. Seth Frederick P. Jalosjos, Senator Gregorio B. Honasan II, moved for the confirmation en masse of the 50 AFP officers. The appointments of the AFP ranking officers were later confirmed during the CA plenary session. Jalosjos said his committee found the 50 AFP officers “fit and qualified’’ to hold their ranks.
