Seven new players have been invited by coach Kwesi Appiah for Ghana's doubleheader of AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome next week. “They [new players] should know that if they do well, they would be heard of," Akonnor said as reported by footy-Ghana. Spain based duo Mohammed Salisu and Idrissu Baba are among the new players invited to camp. German-born Christopher Antwi Adjei, Torric Jebrin, Mohammed Kudus, Razak Abalora and Shafiu Mumuni are the other new boys in camp.
