Butlin's extends holiday parks closures due to uncertainty over UK restrictions


The holiday parks giant had originally planned to reopen from February 28, but with no confirmation regarding the lifting of lockdown restrictions yet, this has now been extended. Options being offered include rebooking the same trip for 2022, moving to another break in 2021 or receiving a full refund. Given the uncertainty around a reopening date, we’ve made the decision to extend our closure period until 14th March. As a result, holiday parks which would usually be open for February half term are keeping their resorts closed - we've got a guide on when holiday parks plan to reopen including the likes of Center Parcs, Haven, Parkdean Resorts and more. Although there are no set end dates confirmed, there are hopes that schools in England could return from March 8, and schools in Scotland from February 22.
